About Us
Lumpia Etc. is a family owned and operated food trailer and mobile catering business located primarily in Edward’s County Illinois, specializing in (but not limited to) traditional Filipino cuisine.
What exactly is “lumpia”? - Lumpia is the Filipino word for egg roll or fried spring roll. Traditional lumpia are made with paper-thin lumpia wrappers and filled with a savory mixture of ground pork, cabbage, and other vegetables. Lumpia is usually served as a side dish or appetizer with a sweet chili dipping sauce.
Where is the Philippines? - The Philippines is located in Southeast Asia, on the eastern rim of the Asiatic Mediterranean. It is an archipelago consisting of more than 7,000 islands and islets lying about 500 miles (800 km) off the coast of Vietnam. Manila is the capital, but nearby Quezon City is the country’s most-populous city.
